From sketching fashion designs to playing makeover games on dial-up internet as a child (yes, I’m aging myself), I have always had a passion for fashion and beauty. This passion led me to my first marketing role, where I worked with L’Oréal. Soon, I was leading marketing efforts for prestigious brands like Clinique and Dior, merging my love for beauty with marketing expertise. As fulfilling as my journey has been, over time, I noticed a gap in the industry: people of color were often overlooked in product development and marketing. In an effort to help address this disparity, Kulaborative Works was born.
Kulaborative Works embodies a movement to champion and empower emerging beauty brands, especially black-owned brands, that celebrate inclusivity and create products with us as the muse. With all the marketing magic I've picked up over the years, I aim to help inclusive beauty brands shine and ensure people from all backgrounds feel represented and valued in the beauty space.
